I graduated with a BFA in theatre performance and have over five years of experience in TV/Film. I began my acting career when I was fourteen years old and have enjoyed expanding my expertise within the field. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I started casting as a freelance assistant to notable casting agencies for principal and local extra roles for major films and TV shows. I have credits with studios and networks like Hulu, Netflix, MGM, and Sony.

I created Julia Lauren Casting with the mission of collaborating with all creatives. It has been an absolute joy creating with such talented individuals. Our industry has faced challenges in the last few years with COVID-19 and the advocation for all unions with the strikes. I hope that despite the challenges, we can find camaraderie within each other to do what we love most: telling stories.
